Should I see my doctor???I'm 35 with hypertension and to be honest I am slightly over weight. Whilst reading up on my hyertension with a view to better manage it I came across an article on OSA. I thought nothing of it until I considered the complaints my ex-girlfriend would have about me waking her in the night with loud snoring and gasping, rasping and clicking sounds as I tried to breath. My mother laughed about this and mentioned that I had always been like this from being a small child. In addition, I have a slightly crooked nose cartlidge, which causing one nostril to completely close, should I block the other, another potential obstruction.
I sometimes wake often in the night, but also have no trouble sleeping, deeply, at least it seems that is the case. I don't seem to struggle during the day but having recently given up coffee, I was a 10 cups a day man, it seems i experience an increasing number of 'tired' periods. I think I already have my answer, but I would appreciate any thoughts. It might seem strange but I don't like to bother my doctor. JT, Hong Kong
