Neuropathy

My mother who is 86 has neuropathy that makes it difficult to sense where her feet are when walking. This as you might imagine makes it difficult to walk. I believe I heard a while back that shoes have been designed to stimulate the nerves in the bottom of the foot relegated to where weight of the person is shifting. Does anyone know where I could find more detail on this.

You may wish to go to a foot doctor or in the case of my son who has diabetic neuropathy , a foot clinic that makes special orthotics to relieve some of the pain. We live in Ontario and I have a good health care plan that covers the cost of orthotics and all doctor visits. Orthotics cost $500.00 and up in Ontario . Good luck finding the product.
