special shoes for the neuropathy afflictedMy mother who is 86 has neuropathy that makes it difficult to sense where her feet are when walking. This as you might imagine makes it difficult to walk. I believe I heard a while back that shoes have been designed to stimulate the nerves in the bottom of the foot relegated to where weight of the person is shifting. Does anyone know where I could find more detail on this.
Sponsored LinksRe: special shoes for the neuropathy afflictedYou may wish to go to a foot doctor or in the case of my son who has diabetic neuropathy , a foot clinic that makes special orthotics to relieve some of the pain. We live in Ontario and I have a good health care plan that covers the cost of orthotics and all doctor visits. Orthotics cost $500.00 and up in Ontario . Good luck finding the product. Let me know if you were successful.
