Neuropathy due to Multiple Myeloma TreatmentI was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in March of 2005. I have had four rounds of chemo and two autologis stem cell transplants. My neuropathy symptoms began a few months after commencing treatment with Thalidomide in 2005. I switched to Revlemid, a derrivative of Thalidomide, in November of 2007 because Revlemid supposedly does not cause or promote neuropathy. My neuropathy continues to worsen. First I took Neuronton to counter the symptoms of neuropathy and later I switched to Lyrica. Due to my concern about putting additional drugs through my liver I discontinued the Lyrica. What can I do to deminish or eliminated the tingling and numbness that extends from my knees to my toes and from my finger tips to my wrists? Can something be done to promote the regeneration of nerve endings?
