I had my first NCV/EMG last week, and I was so nervous, especially from what other people had said. I was tested by a Physician Assistant who was also a Neurophysiologist at my Neurosurgeons office in GA. I was amazed at how easy and practically painless the whole thing was, even the needle part of the test. Like everything else people have done in life, it just depends on who is doing it.
