Cancerous nodules in both lungs
Hello: My father-in-law was just diagnosed with nodules in his lungs. He was given a PET scan where the nodules, "lit-up". The next day he had a biopsy of the nodules and today the doctors have told us they are cancerous. They are all about the size of a green pea. What are the treatment plans and outcome for patients with this diagnosis. I do not know exactly where the nodules are lcoated in the lung. Thank you for your help.
