I have stage 4 lung cancer . I was 54 years old when we found it. I have had chemo and radiation . I am now just getting chemo. It has been six months. The doctors thought I would lose weight(I weighed 124lbs) Now I am 145 lbs. and striving. The treatments are hard at times. Just be very supportive . Its hard to be positive all the time but try to get her to do the things she loves to do if possible.. I believe we can heal ourselfs . Read books on your cancer etc. I stopped smoking . Alot of people do not , I try to think positively(sometimes you just can't) but thats ok. I will pray for your mother can't hurt right Good luck Ruth Peterson

You realize that you should never give up. Modern medicine may predict the most dire situation, but modern medicine is NOT God. I have advanced stage IV lung cancer which also metastasized into a Brain Tumor. My faith in God, and His bounty and blessing only increased, not decrease. If he is the creator of all you should know he has the ability to heal your mother by your and her faith alone.
Learn to pray boldly and ask favors that seem impossible, remember the Lord never closes doors without opening new doors for you to step through. Learn to trust in Him completely and totally. Our modern lives may revolt at such thoughts it may be absurd, but remember nothing is impossible to God. So pray bold, open your visions and see beyond what's in front of you. God is waiting for you to ask boldly and he will bless you MORE than you ask for.
