kidney stonesMy husbands has had undiagnosable penile pain interminently for 8-10 years. It increased in frequency the last few years. He is in NYC region and has been to 8 urologists and 2 internists. I was afraid of something warning him of major dangerous development. Re: kidney stonessome of these urologists could be guilty of malpractice... they could have ordered an x ray or CT scan sooner... in my state there is a 3 year statue of limitations.... also you should contact your state medical board or the hospital where these doctors were associated with, a complaint should be filed to keep this from happening to another poor person. Malpractice is not always about getting money or pain and suffering but, making people do what they should have done, called specific performance. I filed a complaint on the phone last year about ER treatment for a kidney stone attack with the chair of emergency medicine... a nurse friend told me since I did that I could not sue for $. I could not do that anyway because this is the only hospital/medical school/univ in my state that can treat me.
