Glaucoma

I have been told that my nine year old son has detached retina and high glaucoma pressure. Does one thing have anything to do with the other?

It would be very unusual for a 9 year old to have glaucoma by itself (unless born with it) but owing to the fact that he also has a detached retina, this is the likely cause, especially if the detachment was from trauma.
