Painful Orgasms

Post a new topicby daniellemm on Tue Sep 23, 2008 10:01 am

My name is Danielle and I am 32 years old, married with no children.

Since months ago, I am experiencing painful orgasms, cramps like pain that lasts a few seconds after the orgasm. Even without penetration.

Sometimes I feel bloated, tired and I am experiencing changes in my bowel habits (loose/soft stools) but no pain. I also have history of abnormal paps (ASCUS) and the HPV exams are always negative and colposcopy results were normal. STD exams normal also.

What is that? Can it be endometriosis?

Please help. I did a sonogram last week and my doctor said that I had a small cyst that it will go away by it self. She did not see anything else. Regarding the pain, she said that it could be muscle spasms.

What kinds of exams should I ask for?

Thanks for your help.

It very well could be endometriosis. I have it and even getting naturally lubricated is VERY painful. Forget climax, I would rather die. However, I am currently working with physicians to see what we can do. I cannot diagnose you, but I can advise you to seek the assistance of your doctor. I know telling the Dr. you are having painful orgasms is not easy, but they are not going to laugh at you or think you are nuts, so just do it! Good luck!!!
