Erectile Dysfunction

I am in my mid 40's and was recently hospitalized for a back strain injury. During the hospital stay, I had a foley catherter.

Since release from the hospital, (it has been 2 months) I have noticed that I have difficulty getting an erection/maintaining an erection. This is true whether I am being intimate with my wife or even while masturbating.

I have always had a strong libeto and have never had a problem getting hard before. I have been masturbating (almost) daily since I was 12 and sexually active since 17.

I am curious if there are other men out there who have had this issue after a catherter removal. I have an appointment with the doctor next week, but I am just looking to see/hear from others who may have had similar experiences.
