A little help with identifying epilepsy.

Post a new topicby cjhardee on Tue Jan 29, 2008 8:31 pm

Hey all, I was just wondering if someone would possibly help me out. Im trying to see if I should go in and get tested for epilepsy I am 20 years old and as a child I would faint randomly, this happened from the ages between 6-14 or so, at least one time a year and sometimes even more than that. My mom even told me that sometimes during my faint spells I would sometimes have 'little' seizures as she called them, not every time i passed out but occasionally. In the past two years I have had two seizures that I believed were caused by pain, (I had just had foot surgery and landed on it... severe pain, and one time when I got a tattoo.) I was just wondering if epilepsy could be triggered by something like that. Although when I was young I didnt faint because of pain. I was just wondering if someone would help me out if at all possible. Thanks so very much!
