Sponsored LinksRe: My sweet girl lilyHi there,
Thank you so much for sharing your story. My daughter has not been diagnosed with CP yet, but I believe that she will be soon (we have an appointment with a neurologist next month). We have known that she was at risk since she was born along with her brother and sister (triplets!) at 30 weeks (at 3 lbs) and PVL was discovered when she was still in the NICU, and she is quite delayed in reaching developmental milestones: at 14 months (12 adjusted) she can sit, but only with help on positioning and something in front of her to hold onto, and she is not crawling yet. She is receiving PT and OT services, so I suppose we're doing everything we can to help her, but I'm still very apprehensive about what the future will hold for her. Of course I'm hoping for the best, but sometimes all the reading I do on the web makes me fear for the worst. So reading stories like yours is encouraging. Can you share anything more about how the progress she's made and what you attribute it to? Thank you in advance
