Bell's Palsy

My grandmother is 77, we were at the Emergency room and they ruled out a stroke she has this tingling feeling but is painfull, it runs from half (top only) of her head through half her face just above the lip, today she woke up and she could bearly open her eye, and she is in a lot of pain, she is taking percocets, and we are waiting to hear from her PCP to refer us to a Neurologist, it is very hard to get treatment right away because she doesn't have insurance and she is not neither a resident or a citizen. Any suggestions anybody?
