Trying to be patient

Post a new topicby livingwith on Fri Jun 27, 2008 1:41 pm

I delivered our baby girl 11 days ago and the next day woke up with Bell’s Palsy symptoms. I was tipped off by having trouble eating and drinking. The symptoms got progressively worse during the day and a neurologist ruled out stroke and diagnosed Bell’s Palsy the next morning. She told me that I have a “subtle case” and prescribed a low dose of predinose (so that I could still nurse). She said it would probably remit in 2 to 3 weeks. Hi , I had the fight with Bell's Palsy like alot of people on this forum. You can read my post April 2008, its been 4 months and all things considered Iam 95% back to normal from the twisted face , drooped eye which still tears alot but its nothing compared to back in Feb 08 , when it all began, My advice is to try Vitiam B 6 50mcg and Vitiam B12 500 mcg, check with your doctor I took them every night for 2 months and along with the Bio Feedback therpy I am almost 100%, I did't believe the storys it will go away just as it comes and scares the heck out of you. my face is 100% back to what it was just the minor eye tearing and a little numbness around the lip, I hope you fully recover but do something the quicker the better, God Bless!
