About one month ago I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. It came about at an extremely slow rate and I should have known to do something when I had a chance of deterring it. About three days before it hit, I had an excruciating ear ache. I had never had an ear infection before so I figured it would go away in do time.. Unfortunately, I was very wrong.
The fourth day of the ear ache, I was in an afternoon class and my face would not stop twitching. I felt as though my entire left side - eyes...Read the full article

Thanks to Dani for sharing her inspirational story about her frightening episode and quick recovery from BP. Dani's positive attitude, willingness to take inventory of her life, along with the fantastic support she received from her family, doctors, and friends were all instrumental for her healing. Going forward, Dani will REALLY NEED to continue to pay attention to her basic needs. Go Dani go!

As is typical as one progresses through life, one tends to take on more responsibility and with responsibility comes additional stress. Our success in life depends upon how we react to and handle stress. I'm sure you've noticed how people react differently to a challenge? I've experimented by alterating my reaction to the same challenge. It's helped me to better cope with stress and perform at a higher level.

Personally having sufferred from countless, seemingly endless episodes of cranial nerve pain for over 30 years, I've learned that physical, mental, and spiritual balance all play equal roles in my being symptom free for the past 4 years. I used to be a major care taker (big time co-dependent) for other people's needs and put my own needs last. I learned that I can't be helpful to others if I'm not well. I'm truely grateful for having learned my life lessons even though it wasn't until middle age (better late than never). I'm most appreciative that I live my life true to myself and as a result I'm pain free from nuerolgia and without the paralyzing fear that my pain will return. I can dig it!
