cold water sensation......I have had incidents of a sore back or pulled muscle, but one time it landed me on my back for three days. When the pain subsided I would feel a cold water sensation down the backs of my legs. My back has never "healed" from that incident and the pain is chronic. X-rays are normal; maybe a little degeneration of the discs. MRI is normal and I have been referred to a neurologist. What is next? For a year every week I would rotate accupuncture and theraputic massage. I confess I did not go to a chiropractor; I don't like the whole "twisting head" thing. I guess my question is "How does a Nurologist repair nerves?" What's next?
