Athlete's Foot

Dear Dr.,

My husband has been dealing with Athlete's foot since he was a child. And we can't find anything to help his feet! On the soles of his foot it is red and he says it itches him. Really bad, during the summer his hands break out with a rash that is also itchy too.
And bless his heart his feet stinks, we need to find something to help his feet. Cause it's getting hard and embarrassing to deal with. As far as the shoes he wears he has a pair of Leather work boots, house shoes, and a pair of mountain boot (hiking boots) and a pair of tennis shoes. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated!

It is probably not athelete's foot especially of he gets it on his hands. He should see a dermatologist for a thorough examination. It is probably eczema which can be treated very effectively with many types of medicine. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
