"attack"For many years I have had back issues and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and sjogren's syndrome. In 2006, I had a 11mm brain aneurysm coiled and stented..so, with many medical issues and autoimmune disorders, I have a question. I recently had "attack" at 4 am in the morning when I got up to use the restroom. I stood up and shooting pains went down my left leg and down both arms. I continue to have pain in my leg which is worsening, and have extreme numbness and tingling mostly on the left side of my body. Can anyone give me any input? brain related? possible disc problem?
Re: "attack"First, Why is this in the ADHD section? Second, have you gone to specialists such as Orthapedics and had MRIs done of your back and neck? Xrays will catch only a little but will be a start. Check if there are Drs who specialize in Fibromyalgia, too. A Neurologist will be able to check out what is going on with the nerves to help make the diagnosis.
Seek qualified professionals, not just your neighborhood Drs. I had shooting pains and severe cramps in my legs waking me around 2 a.m. I've just gone through a month of anodyne treatments - the cramps are gone and the shooting pains are minimized. I already know that I have arthritis in my lower back and rotor cuff tears in my shoulders.
Re: "attack"the above info in this topic is much good and i didn't know about the neurology and i am happy to reply this forum .i am eager to wait for some more info from this site.
