In 1973 I worked with a nun in Wichita,Ks named Sr Aegidia Worth who used the Doman-Delacado method of working with children who were ADHD or other people with TBI from other causes such as car accidents. Doman-Delacado refers to 2 Drs in Philidelphia, PA who developed these techniques which involved working on eye-hand coordination a lot with creeping & crawling, parallel bars etc. I am now a child psych nurse & would like to find information on this method to use with our children if anyone "out there" can tell me where to access it. Thank you!

I have longtime interest in ped neurobehavioral/development & implications for psych. Am also familiar with Dolman-Delicato methods. There was an older doc in Oak Park, IL using technique---a Dr. Dunn, but not sure if still in practice. Suggest websites below for other neurobehavioral organization/integration methods that may provide assist for L/D, adhd, behavioral and motor/balance/coordination issues.

www.inpp.org.uk (books by Sally Goddard Blythe at amazon)
www.inpp.us Palatine, IL colleague Lawrence Beuret, MD

http://stoppingadhd.com/ (Miriam Bender Achievement Center)
Two PhDs in Indianapolis (Drs. Bender, O'Dell & Cook were connected with Purdue University) using crawling against resistance etc...Nancy O'Dell & Patricia Cook authored "Stopping ADHD" available through amazon.

www.handle.org out of Seattle, but with traveling clinics for appointments
Dore Centers for dyslexia+ (think they have left Chicago area, but still active elsewhere & in UK)

Will be interested to learn of other providers & methods from this forum feedback.
